Golf Club de Biot
The Côte d’Azur is an ideal backdrop for golfing, and Golf de Biot is no exception. With Nice, Cannes and the Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport all nearby, making Biot a great location to base yourself away from the busy French Rivera towns.
Golf de Biot, 9- & 18-hole courses are easy to get to, while the rural setting of Biot provides a green environment that radiates calm and authenticity. A true delight where players of all ages and all abilities can come and live their passion.
The Golf de Biot, also known as the Bastide du Roy is one of the many sites in Biot where the tradition of golf lives on. With a driving range, restaurant and pro shop, the Golf de Biot has a magnificent 18-hole course accessible for beginners in a charming and exceptional site just at the foot of the village.
The course of the Golf Club de Biot is 4606m, par 69 and designed for all levels of golfer to enjoy. Architects Peter James Gannon and Percy Boomer designed the course so that it is suitable for players of all levels and the beauty of the site is enhanced from the first to the last hole.
Modelled on Northern European golf courses, it is simple without being simplistic and very accessible to beginners, but its slope is not easy and good players often have to show humility. The Brague and the Valmasque rivers constitute natural obstacles running alongside some of the holds of this charming golf course.
All along the course, the greens open up an unobstructed view of the village of Biot, the city of glassmakers, a picturesque village clinging to a spur above the valley of the La Brague River.
