Golf du Château de Bournel

Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

Located in the heart of the Franche-Comté, close to Switzerland and Alsace Golf du Château de Bournel is designed for golfers looking for high standards.

Château de Bournel is one of a select few golf facilities operated by NGF Golf throughout the country under its Exclusiv brand, and this stable of upmarket courses includes many great courses including Château de Raray and Club du Lys Chantilly.

The Château de Bournel is the property of the Marquis de Moustier, an old Franche-Comté family which has its origins in a small village in the Doubs, Mouthier-Hautepierre overlooking the Loue valley 60 km away. The members of this illustrious family, whose motto "Moustier sera maugré le Sarrazin" can trace their existence to the time of the Crusades, and were throughout the ages warriors, soldiers until the 18th century, diplomats until 1868, politicians on the regional and national level until 1958, and still participate actively in the economic life of the region today.
