Golfing Holidays

Côte d’Azur

As a golf destination, the Côte d'Azur was a trailblazer. From the 19th Century, with the influx of European aristocracy who wanted to take advantage of the idyllic locations and peerless climate, golf courses soon appeared and developed.

The first Cannes Mandelieu, inaugurated in 1891, was one of the oldest golf courses in France, along with Dinard, Biarritz and Pau. The sport at that time was the preserve of an elite… so where better than to Côte d'Azur. Since then golf has taken a different dimension, developing a very diverse range of options.

With over twenty clubs, mostly open all year round, the Côte d'Azur offers a variety of courses that welcome golfers of all skills levels. Amateurs, enthusiasts, professionals and at its highest level the base of the French Golf Team.

Thanks to the diversity of golf courses on the Côte d'Azur, many golfers come here for the golf alone. It's a chance to experience a variety of landscapes, obstacles and distances. The Côte d'Azur can, therefore, be a paradise for golfers that want to devote a full holiday to their passion.
