Country House (Lawburn House, Auchterarder)

Lawburn House is a truly wonderful country house with a simply sensational luxurious feel to it. From the outside, its attractive “cottage” appeal belies the sumptuous interior and the gorgeous gardens behind. It manages to retain a real charm and welcome in its many rooms. Set over 2 floors the ground floor provides a great kitchen with Aga and dining space and snug with a Woodburner that you will find is a well-used gathering spot. The quality shines through with lovely wood and stone floors and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. The formal sitting/dining room with gas fire and a conservatory provide more space to relax in and there is a lovely bedroom downstairs.

On the first floor are 4 further bedrooms and bathrooms – all are of an equally desirable standard, all have TVs and some have lovely views across to the Ochil hills or across the gardens where the sound of a burn will lull you to sleep. The family bathroom has a sauna for those who like it, and a reading room and a very attractive garden room with a balcony providing peace and solitude. Located in a quiet and beautiful part of Perthshire and perfect for those who want to access the great golf courses of Scotland.

Golf Course (Kings Course)

The King's Course, opened in 1919, is a masterpiece of golf course design by James Braid, which has tested golfers both professional and amateur alike. James Braid's plan for the King's Course was to test even the best players' shot-making skills over the eighteen holes. All the holes have evocative and pithy Scots names. For example, the fifth, "Het Girdle" (Hot Pan), is a challenging par 3 with trouble everywhere except on the green, while 17th's name, "Warslin' Lea" (Wrestling Ground), reflects the difficulty so many golfers have had with this long, sweeping par 4.

Golf Course (Queens Course)

The natural beauty of the Queen's Course again designed by James Braid inspires the world's most experienced players. The Queen's Course, in its long history, has played host to some of the world's golfing greats. The beautiful settings and the challenge of the golf course have attracted such top golfers and celebrities for many years now. Threading through high ridges on the north and west sides of the estate, the Queen's golf course offers lovely woodland settings, lochans and ditches as water hazards, as well as many moorland characteristics.
