Day One

Fly from your chosen airport, any time that suits you! Sip champagne as you board a luxury private jet. Leave in the morning and you’ll be in the heart of the Chianti vineyards within a few hours. Surrounded by 140 hectares of vineyards with striking views, narrow streets, picturesque squares, a Romanesque chapel and shrines, this is one the most charming sites in the Chianti region. That evening unwind with a fabulous Tuscan tasting menu!

Day Two

Beautiful Tuscany will take your breath away with its scenery fine dining and wine; Italian wines have improved at an astonishing pace and not only will you be tasting some of the famous super Tuscans like the Villa Antinori Rosso, but you will be savouring some of the best Italian cooking as the two go delightfully hand in hand.

Day Three

Enjoy breakfast on the terrace, before being whisked off to the airport as Rioja reds now await! After arriving at the architecturally stunning Hotel Marques de Riscal, you’ll enjoy your first Rioja wine tasting at a cellar dating from 1858. Then make use of the extensive spa and gym facilities at the hotel before an extraordinary eight-course Michelin Star dinner at one of the top restaurants in Spain.

Day Four

Your Rioja wine tasting tour continues with a full day wine tasting experience around Rioja with your English-speaking guide who will chauffeur you for the day. You will visit a winery before visiting an ancient vineyard dating to the 14th century. This is followed by a fabulous tapas lunch. You will visit a famous wine estate in the afternoon before returning to the hotel ready for a memorable tapa tour that night.

Day Five

Leaving the Arabadia Mountains behind you, it’s time to visit Bordeaux for and enjoy more world-famous Grand Cru Wines. That evening you will indulge in a spectacular two-star Michelin tasting menu paired with Grand Cru Wines with each course.

Day Six

The second day of your Bordeaux wine tasting trip is devoted to the majestic Médoc. Along with your English-speaking guide you’ll follow the famous “route des châteaux”, stopping for tastings at two prestigious classified growth châteaux along the way including an exclusive lunch in a 2nd growth château.

Day Seven

Time to reflect over your favourite region and grape variety with a glass or two of bubbly en route home. (Or if your feeling really extravagant, you can always stop in Champagne for a night too?).
